Lebanon. Today.

One of the sweetest things about living in Lebanon (pun intended) is the plethora of religious holidays — with their specific desserts and sweets made on those particular occasions. Yummy. So, today is Eid el Barbara – St. Barbara’s Eid. We get to eat ‘Atayef and Aawam and Ma’caroon. and boiled wheat with sugar.(Thank you Mona for the sweets )

(Meanwhile… a day’s drive south, our families are hungry…)
