Names. …

After the 9-11 attacks, US papers talked about each one of the victims (except the undocumented workers). They talked about those individuals. What they did for a living. What they loved to do. Their families. Their children.

Imagine the same here.

And remember… approximately 75% of the Palestinians living in Gaza are refugees, many twice refugees – from 1948 and 1967.

Brothers, sisters, cousins, wives, husbands, friends, daughters, sons, colleagues, neighbors

The first 187 names of those murdered in the ongoing Gaza massacre were released today:

  1. Record!
    I am an Arab
    I have a name without a title
    Patient in a country
    Where people are enraged
    My roots
Were entrenched before the birth of time
And before the opening of the eras
Before the pines, and the olive trees
    And before the grass grew
